I feel like it's very smooth and I feel like it's gonna get the job done.” So everything is going good, you know, coming out here and just seeing how they operate, how we go through practice and stuff like that. I mean, we haven't had any complaints, anything small talk in the locker room.
I mean, I think everybody loves them so far. I mean, but yeah, seeing how they interact with us on the field. We couldn't wait to get out here and see how they, how they yell at us, stuff like that. How nice was it to get to know the coach staff on the field?ĬA: “Oh, yeah, definitely. So I mean, yeah, just staying consistent with what we do, I think, you know, being very detailed in the little things and just making sure we have those right because I mean, y'all know we're not gonna be running a lot of stuff. I mean, we're gonna line up it's gonna look the exact same and we're gonna drop out into different stuff. I mean, it's gonna really confuse the other teams. What are your impressions of this scheme so far?ĬA: “Yeah, I think it's really it's all gonna look the same for real. So yeah, just whatever I can do to help this team overall.” You know, tell them what I think they should do, tell him to go get advice from a coach or something like that. And, you know, if I see some guys not doing the right thing then it might be time for me to, you know, step up a little bit. And on the field, just making plays and trying to get better. You're expected to be a leader on this defense this season, how’re you handling that?ĬA: “Yeah, you know, just off the field trying to lead by example, you know, stuff like going to class, making sure I've taken all my vitamins, just all the little stuff like that, you know, to show everybody I am a leader and I've been here during doing things right. But yeah, for me personally and I feel like just all the people around us, we all love this scheme and we're just invested into it.” So that's what my job is, you know, here and there I'm gonna do other stuff. For me, I feel like, you know, reading the quarterback can just break on the ball for real. After one practice what do you think?Ĭam Allen: “Oh, yeah, I mean, just looking at the scheme, y'all know me, I like to get to the ball.
